“I miss the short hair so much. This long one doesn t for you very well. I apologize. I’m so sorry 😢. Is just my opinion.”
To the person who messaged me regarding the length of my hair.
Hello,
I hope you are well and that this letter finds you happy, secure, warm, and full of meaning and love.
Thank you for your concern regarding my hair. It is so kind of you to offer your advice with respect to it’s length. I am sorry you find yourself longing for when my hair was short. I do, at times, share in your longing. It was quite a while ago that it was short and my hair, well known for its readiness to grow with the passing of days and months, has done what is in its nature to do, and become long.
Alas. This is the ephemeral and changing nature of our world. Youth, seemly at first to cascade gently into old age, begins to rush down quickly, in a torrent of time, towards unrecognizable and at times, undesirable ends. This is our burden to bear. To know the true nature of time is to look upon the face of god. Like Krishna revealing the enormity of his cosmic self to Arjuna, we are struck with awe upon gazing into times colossal form, it’s gaping maw, wet with all our dreams both broken and not yet born. We are powerless in its presence, and it’s presence is inescapable.
I would like to let you know, whole heartedly, that I did not mean to deceive or disappoint you in failing to cut it. I promise you, I hold no follicular machinations of ill will toward you and my wearing of my hair long was not a disregard of your opinion. I would never be that callous, it was simply my ignorance to the existence of your opinion, and admittedly, laziness on my part to attend to cutting it. I hope you can understand this and as a form of penance for this oversight I will of course be shaving my head at the earliest opportunity.
Forever your adoring servant.

people are commenting about his hair, but i STILL don't think that this is what it's about...
it's not just about hair... it's a thought about the fact that other people's opinions can make us reflect on ourselves, on the world around us, on life (sorry for my english, I'm from Sardinia... Italy)
Non è solo a proposito dei capelli... è un pensiero sul fatto che l'opinione altrui può farci riflettere su noi stessi, sul mondo che ci circonda, sulla vita
