Loved it! Very stream of consciousness and raw. Hope you’re jetlag has taken its course by now. I’m sure you will find a music store or a way to do music in a city like Auckland. Also pro tip: go to the north island :)

I lived there for a year to study, amazing place. Beautiful nature and some of the kindest people I met. I recall there is a few music rental places around queen street, dvds and record stores as well. What tattoo did you get?

Also, 168 hit a chord. Exactly. I don’t kill spiders (with exception of ones that can hurt/kill me or my cats like black widows who have made way into my home and I have no way of safe catch and release). I prefer to catch and release. They help more than hurt most of the time. 🕷🕸🖤

A life in constant motion can make friendships feel fleeting. I felt that

Thanks for all the pics you have been sharing with us. The time difference is huge seeing that you are already on Tuesday. I get confused with one hour differences so I wouldn’t last with 14 hours. Thanks for taking time out of you busy life to write. So with tattoos there is usually a story. Could you share your tattoos and the story behind them in a blog?

““I have genuine connections, they just aren’t very long.” I hear myself mumble under the moon.” at this point i’m making a note with quotes from your blog

I would also like to howl at the moon from the top of a mountain that it be a cold night with many stars and a big moon and that it howls so loud and that my body is free and not howl in the patio of my house and that my neighbors see me like crazy 😜 it feels good to do it well for you that is always good sir go ahead and many blessings and a pleasant life 🙏🏻

Thank you for this beautiful piece..not to mention, poetry 😍. Sadly, I’ve never been to New Zealand. The only memory of it I have in my head is from the lovely movie ‘Falling Inn Love’ with Christina Milian. Such scenic and quaint hues. Seems to be the kind of place to escape to…fall in love with nature’s glory and the bliss of just ‘being’.

Really liked poem 168 at the end it kind of reminds me of a piece I wrote a few years ago about a black snake

by which i mean meditating on this idea of killing in response to a false threat. i have this memory from early childhood of my dad killing a snake he found in the house but like, thinking back as an adult he didn’t have to kill it. and ultimately there’s really something quite disturbing about how easily humans feel entitled to take a life??
