All these things belong to the world and will remain in the world. Our deeds will go with us.

I'm glad you think about it. Think about death. This world is a test. The result we will get on the Day of Judgment.

People are here today, tomorrow they will be somewhere else.

Hold the hand of the Holy One who is always with you who has created us all.

All the poems are very well written. I'm glad you care about these things.

May that Holy Essence fill your heart with light

Damn did you nail the wide concept of dominant religions that often start wars to be “supreme”. One in particular uses fear and oppression to control people (not saying all branches but from my personal experience with that local religion, where my grandfather’s funeral was used as a political pulpit without our permission/prior knowledge that that would be happening where we might of had a chance to stop it). It goes against everything they claim to be. It’s odd how our most base primal instinct is to have “power” control over others. It’s a weird survival thing to ensure that our resources aren’t threatened and ensures our safety? I don’t know. Also, no hate to anyone. 💜 I respect all beliefs especially those that differ from my own and am just speaking of my experience.

Your summation of social media and its tricks are right on, esp the mindless comments many followers make after a while, like sheep bending their heads to the grass without really seeing what's in front of them. I can be as guilty as any with automatic likes, but I do give them in earnest support of people whose work I value, and commenting takes more thought.

This reminded me of an episode from that ‘Black Mirror’ show on Netflix. There was one with a lady who got ‘ranked’ or was ‘ranked’ herself and it was a lot like social media likes , downvotes, etc. It was kinda creepy how you can just ‘review’ just crossing by them on the street!

I'm always curious about your writing.Your thoughts of social media nailed it. So often superficial and of no real sense.Like a mirror of our daily world.

You're poems are beautiful, excellent writing as per usual. Churches were built during a time to express wealth, but are a symbol of power, greed and dominance. Love the architecture of churches though and I find they can be used as a safe haven to escape storms. I always show respect in a church, even though I'm not religious. I agree with your summary of Social media, but we can be guilty of automatic liking n following popular people. I follow a lot of nature, walking posts which have a lot of meaning to my beliefs

I know this is besides the point, but now I really want to go to Neil Degrasse Tyson social media and post "Yes! SPACE! You slay, Queen."
